Testimonial:

Last year I helped organize and created a team for the first Paddle for Life event. I got involved with the event through Steve Gedies and it was a wonderfull experience. The organization of the event was something that was new to me and a rewarding experience when it all came together on the day of the event. By participating in the event, I also got to enjoy what we had created and the day couldn't have gone any better. It is one thing that I would do again if I was given the chance, unfortunately this summer I am working away from home so I don't have the chance to do it.
Good Luck to all attending this event, and to those that are not.... well, you should give it a thought cause its a great time.

Last year I had a small role in helping to organize the first ever Paddle for Life, and just being able to help out with such a great event was an amazing experience. Seeing how our hard work paid off on the day of the event was a very rewarding experience, and I was glad to be there in support of my friend and teacher Steve Gedies. My friends and I entered a team in Paddle for Life to raise money for this amazing foundation. As soon as I arrived at the park the buzz of positive energy brought a smile to my face, and I knew that it was going to be a great day. We were out paddling in no time, and having a blast singing along with the bands that were playing. As the day came to an end we were all sad to leave but I could tell that something bigger than that one day had started and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of it.
